VIHL will be hosting
The Vancouver Inline Players Annual (VIPA) from
June 27-29, 2008 in
North Vancouver, B.C. at Karen Magnussen
**Tournament is
open to all players. You don't have to be a member of NIHA Canada or USA Hockey Inline.
Standings/Schedule/Statistics
Competitive Adult Division (18 and over)
**Open to any teams
**
$525 Cdn per team. Entry fee is non-refundable as long as there are enough teams. Cash or Cheque is accepted.
**Up to 8 teams total
**
$1000 Cash prize for the winner
Recreational Adult Division (18 and over)
**This division is geared towards teams that are new to tournaments and want to come out and try one and have some fun.
**
$450 Cdn per team. Entry fee is non-refundable as long as there are enough teams. Cash or Cheque is accepted.
**Up to 8 teams total. The age cutoff is Dec 31, 2007
**Players that have played in competitive tournaments before will not be allowed to play in the recreational division. Furthermore, Gold and Platinum players (and Tier 1-3 players in PICH) will not be allowed to play in the recreational division.
**Prizes (TBA) for the winners of all of the divisional pools.
**All teams are
guaranteed 3 games.
**Statistics tracked by
Pointstreak.
**Game MVP's and prizes for the MVP's of each division.
**NIHA/USA Hockey Inline rules apply (4-on-4, no icings or offsides etc.).
**Each game is 2-17 mins running time halves with 1 min between halves and a 5 min warmup
All players must have USA Hockey Inline or NIHA Canada Insurance to participate. Any teams/players without this insurance will be required to purchase NIHA insurance for $10/player. Proof of insurance is required for all teams.
Registration deadline and $200 deposit is due by
June 3 (and full payment is due by June 24)
*Some registrations may be accepted after this point but the fee will be $25 more
