Player Draft - March 31

For all individual players that are looking to join a team...

There will be 2 draft games on Tuesday, March 31 at the Karen Magnussen arena in North Vancouver. The first game will be for Bronze, Silver and Gold players and it will be from 9:30-10:30pm. The second game will be for Iron, Brass and Copper players and it will be from approx 10:30pm-11:30pm. Each game will consist of two 20 minute running time halves, a 5 minute warm up, a 10 minute half time and a 5 minute debrief at the end. Teams will have 10 minutes at the half to quickly meet players in person.

Individuals must pay the $15 fee and get their picture taken before the draft. If you can't attend the draft, you can still try to find a team by posting on the messageboard or we will send your contact info off to anyone requesting an individual of a certain skill level and position.

The actual draft will start at the beginning of the second half of each of the respective games. Teams looking for a player can attend the draft and scout the players, but they can't talk to the players except for during the half and at the end of the game. The draft order will be decided by random lottery within each tier with the higher tiers within each draft starting first. Iron, Brass and Copper teams will not be allowed to participate in the Bronze, Silver and Gold draft. Teams that participate in the draft, must have a team registered for the 2008 season.


NOTE...If you are unsure about your level, you can first attend the draft of the higher tier that you think you are and you can withdraw after the first half if its too high a level for you. Then you can just take part in the draft for the next level down. This can also be the case if you don't get drafted by a team in a higher tiered draft, but you still want to try for a lower tier.
